So what if Oklahoma has beaten Mizzou the last two times in the last two seasons, with one of those coming in last year's Big 12 Title Game. With meeting number three within the last two years on saturday, many aren't gving the Tigers a shot. Does Missouri have a legitimate shot at upsetting Oklahoma? Well as optimistic as I am, I would have to give the Tigers a shot.
At the beginning of the year, Mizzou was a top 10 team and looked to be on its way as a Big-12 conference contender for the conference championship. Well, one of these somewhat come true as the Tigers come into the Big-12 title game with 3 losses. But those 3 losses have come from Oklahoma State, who held tough with Texas and Oklahoma, in Austin against the Longhorns which everyone knows is very tough to win at, and a loss to the hated rival Kansas, because of a last minute TD toss by Ressing that gave the Jayhawks the win. These three losses are to reasonably tough teams and I look to see Missouri to hang tough in this game with Oklahoma.
There have been reports about Quarterback Chase Daniel contacting Texas QB Colt McCoy, who is the only QB to defeat the Sooners this year. McCoy wants in for the National Championship. So why not give advice to your only hope to beat the Sooners?

Advice McCoy gave to Daniel was to take the short passes, don't underestimate the Sooner Defense's speed, and to keep the ball safe by avoiding turnovers. The Texas Offense did so against Oklahoma with an efficient running game and short efficent passing. Longhorn Reciever Jordan Shipley had a breakout game with a kickoff return for a touchdown and a recieving toucdown from McCoy. The Tigers have a very similar explosive player in Jeremy Maclin.

Maclin also returns kicks and is the Tigers' most explosive player. If Daniel can manage the game just right with consistent passes to all-american TE Chase Coffman, and get the ball in Maclin's hands when needed, this game could end up as a shootout similar to Oklahoma's game with Oklahoma State which was close until the final 3 minutes.
The key for Mizzou if the game comes down to that type of the game, which the Sooners and Cowboys played, is to just finish out the game. Oklahoma State wasn't able to do so and Boomer Sooner was able to pull away with the big win late, winning by the score of 61-41.
Point blank, Bradford is going to get his stats and light up the scoreboard with the offense he leads. The only way is to match them points for points and hope their offense will be the one that makes the key mistake that decides the ball game.
